About
Design has always been in my heart, but I went to school for a sensible degree in engineering. Halfway through I switched over to technical communications, then after graduation got a job in fashion writing and editing, and then moved into home decor and completed my interior design certification on the side. You can’t run from—or reason your way out of—your calling!
In 2019, my husband and I welcomed our first child, and 5 months later packed up our family and moved to the beautiful hills of Tennessee, where we found and fell in love with an old, odd cottage near the water. We’ve since welcomed another baby, completed at least a dozen renovation projects, and opened a small shop on Etsy. My design services are on hold while I spend my days mothering small children, but I’m looking forward to helping people turn their homes into havens again someday soon.
I’m the world’s most forgetful blogger, but you can also find me on Instagram or my Pinterest page (which was featured on Refinery29!)
