Friday Five: Pineapples!

Hello! It's finally Friday, AND a long weekend. If that's not a reason to celebrate with some Memorial Day sale shopping, then I don't know what is. If you're looking to add a few summer-inspired pieces to your closet or home, try something fruity! My favorite fruit style right now has to be pineapples, and I'm not alone. They're everywhere! Here are five pineapple-themed pieces I'm loving:

This refreshing trend is one of my favorites for the summer, but it can also easily go childish or tacky. Here are just a couple tips for wearing or decorating with fruit:

keep the color palette chic mixing the bright, primary colors of fruit can look kindergarten-esque so try picking one, or opt for prints in "unnatural" shades (ie muted tones or black and white) stick to one fruit piece wearing head-to-toe fruit can look like a costume, and when used in decor it can look like you're setting up for a luau pick pieces that showcase only one type of fruit—like pineapples! mixing multiple fruits can look kinda jumbled and can go "baby" in a heartbeat
