One Room Challenge: Week 8 (THE REVEAL!)

Just like that, eight weeks flew by in a flash, and guys… I DID IT. I finished every single piece of this project, and all before the deadline! I can hardly believe it. I went into this with what I call “soft confidence”. It wasn’t an unshakable “of course I’m going to finish this on time and completely and it’s going to be amazing,” but more of a “I’m going to let this motivate me to keep going and do my best, and any amount of progress is something to be proud of” kind of confidence. So, to get to the end of the challenge and have finished this room, one hundred percent, and to a level that meets my own high standards is just… pure delight.

…and here it is two birthdays, three weekend trips, and eight very short weeks later:

We’ll be moving my husband’s desk back in here over the weekend, but how cute is it staged as a mini in-law suite? This is seriously my new favorite room in the house and I want to hang out here all the time. I hope my husband likes company.
